According to Victoria Police, the collision occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Road and Olive Street in Brighton East.
Ivan was driving a Haval vehicle when it collided with a motorcycle ridden by Zac Keinan. Both men suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Ivan’s seven-year-old son, Henry, was also travelling in the vehicle. The young boy survived the collision with minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
